h2g2: Shop Icons

h2g2 is a community website based on the 'guide' in the cult book 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galazy' by Douglas Adams, who was one of the founding members and directors of the company (which incidentally began its days as The Digital Village).

As one of h2g2's resident in-house artists I designed the above icons for use in an online shop area - unfortunately the h2g2 shop never happened.

The top 7 icons identify the categories (books, music, film, electronic, toys, gifts, travel) and the bottom icons were to identify which region (US or UK) the user was purchasing from.

As with all illustration we developed as h2g2's resident artists, the icons needed to be fun and quirky!
